Ohio A&P mechanics, FAA Part 145 repair stations, flight schools, and general aviation operators may qualify for sales tax exemption on aviation manuals and documentation under ORC 5739.02(B)(49). This statute exempts materials, parts, and equipment used in the repair and maintenance of aircraft or avionics.
